Sentencing: Usually dealt with in the Magistrates' Court. Maximum penalty is 6 months imprisonment, a community order, or a fine. If racially or religiously aggravated, it can be sent to the Crown Court with higher maximum penalties.
Possession with Intent to Supply / Drug Trafficking

Possessing illegal drugs with the intention of selling, sharing, or distributing them to others, or being actively involved in drug production/importation.

Sentencing: Extremely serious offences, almost always sent to the Crown Court. Class A supply can carry up to life imprisonment. Class B and C supply carry up to 14 years imprisonment.
